Mantua PTA publishes the Alert News, Mantua ES's and Mantua PTA's joint weekly e-newsletter that provides information on the latest school and PTA-sponsored activities and events. Please be sure to submit this form as soon as possible to ensure we have your current email address! Email our Alert News editor, Amy Halstead, if you have done so and continue to not receive the newsletter. For those families who do not have access to email, a paper copy of the Alert News is sent home via the oldest child's Tuesday Folder. Email Candy Ferrell if you need to be added to the paper copy distribution list.

PTA chairs and Mantua ES volunteers involved in the facilitation of Mantua ES student activities may submit information to be included in the Alert News by using this completing this form. To allow Mantua ES Administration time to review the newsletter before distribution, submissions must be received by Friday at 6 p.m. to be included in the following Tuesday's newsletter.



2014-15 Alert News Issues


Two volunteers are needed each year: one volunteer collects information to include in the newsletter and distributes it via email. This volunteer works in conjunction with the MemberPlanet admin to create two distribution lists: one for email and the other for paper copies. The second Alert News volunteer prints and photocopies the newsletter on Tuesday mornings to be sent home in TFs. All families receive a paper copy of the Alert News for the first month of school. Beginning in October only families listed on the paper copy distribution list (maintained by the Alert News editor and MemberPlanet admin) receives a paper copy.
