2011 Summer Camp Suggestions

however, they were recommended by school families and are provided here for your information.)

Weekly Specialty Camps (sorted by start dates):
- David Lemair Tennis Camp, Annandale; weekly camps throughout summer, all ages
- Andrew Gause’s Tae Kwon Do, Fairfax; weekly camps throughout summer, time range 7:15am-6:15pm, ages 5-13
- Enshin Karate, Fairfax; weekly camps throughout summer, time range 7:30am-6:30pm, ages 5-12
- Tigereye Tae Kwon Do Camp, Fairfax; weekly camps from June 13-September 2, 8:30am-4pm (before- and after-care available), ages 5 and up
- Simon Harrington's Tennis/Golf/Swim Camp,weekly camps throughout summer beginning June 20, tennis camp only 9am-12pm, all three activities until 4pm, ages 7-13
- Fairfax Ice Arena, Fairfax; specific weeks and camps from June 21-August 4, ages vary by camp
- Camp Invention at Fairhill Elementary, Fairfax; June 27- July 1, 9am-3:30pm, rising 1st-6th graders
- Woodson Summer Camps at Woodson HS, consolidated list of camps: Cheerleading/Dance, Girls & Boys Basketball, Field Hockey, Football, Boys' Lacrosse, Girls' Volleyball
- Woodson Girls Basketball Camp, Woodson HS Gym; June 27-July 1, 9am-3pm, ages 8-14
- U.S. Chess Center Camps (held at multiple local elementary schools), weekly from June 27 through August 19, 4 hours per day, grades 2-7, registration form HERE
- Camp Gan Israel, Mantua/Fairfax, two-week sessions starting June 27 through August 19, 9am-3:30pm (extended care available), rising K-9th graders
- Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia Summer Camps, Fairfax, two-week sessions starting June 27 through August 19, 1 week specialty options from June 27-August 26, 9am-4pm (extended AM & PM care available), 20 mos. old to rising 9th graders
- Champion Debate Camp, (hosting location TBD, likely an FCPS elementary school), Week 1: June 27-July 2, Week 2: July 6-July 11; 9am-4:30pm, rising 7th-9th graders, more info HERE
- Pinecrest School "Summer Pavilion" Camps, Annandale; weekly half-day camps from June 28-August 20, rising K-6th graders
- Robotics Camp, provided by Infamous Robotics, LLC; George Mason University-Fairfax campus; Mon-Thurs through June and July; 10am-3pm, ages 7-12
- Woodson Cheer & Dance Camp/s, Woodson HS Aux Gym; July 5-8, Cheer 9am-1pm, Dance 1pm-5pm, rising Kindergartners-9th graders
- Woodson Boys Basketball Camp, Woodson HS Gym; July 18-22 AND July 25-29, 9am-3pm, ages 8-15
