MUSE: Mantua Unites to support Special Education

MUSE is a new parent-outreach group that has joined forces with our special education teachers to support families with special-needs children. MUSE helps parents keep abreast of current issues in the school system that affect their child's educational experience.

The dates for 2010 MUSE meetings are: 2/17, 3/24, 4/21, 5/19 in the library from 7:00-8:00PM.

Also, the Parent Resource Center of Fairfax County Public Schools promotes parent awareness of the services provided by FCPS for children with special needs and their families. The Center encourages parent participation in the educational decision-making process and provides seminars, training programs, and information to foster the parent/professional partnership.
