Carnival Volunteer Opportunities

It takes an enormous number of volunteers to pull off this great event.
We're counting on each family to contribute!

• Do you know of a game that would work well for one of the class booths? Do you have other theme-related ideas? Contact carnival chairs Sally Meyer or Julie Lifland at the contact information listed below.
• Volunteer to coordinate a basket of goodies for your child's class.
• Say "Yes!" when your class carnival representative asks for volunteers to staff games or booths on Carnival day.
• Volunteer to sell tickets, to set up before the Carnival, or to clean up after the fun is done.

You decide in which areas you'd like to help!

Class Theme Gift Baskets Each class is being asked to provide a theme basket of goodies for a silent auction. A volunteer is needed from each class to coordinate the theme and to accumulate the items. You will not have to put the baskets together. Poster Contest Encourage your kids to participate in the annual poster contest, which celebrates the Carnival theme and activities. Posters will be due on Monday, March 7 by 4pm at the front office.

Class Booths Each class will run a game booth or a food concession. Everyone wins a prize at great games for all ages and skill levels. Your class booth representative needs volunteers to work at the booths on Carnival day. The setup and cleanup committee will also need some handy people with big muscles. Cake Decorating Contest and Cakewalk We need about 200 cakes! Donate a homemade or purchased cake. Adults and children can win prizes for theme-decorated cakes. Food at the Concession Stand We will be serving a selection of lunch items and side dishes in the cafeteria--volunteers are always needed to serve, cashier, and clean up.
